Friday Three (let's be honest here)

Three reasons why I love checking the mail.
1. It is a reason to go back outside at the end of the day. Blake loves trying to open all the other mailboxes with my keys.
2. I love the anticipation of what might possibly be inside. Sounds a little sad to be that excited about it, but it is true none the less.
3. Some days there is a huge surprise inside like an unexpected check for $85 from a hospital stay almost two years ago when I had Blake. Matt said he would split it with me, but seeing as I am the one who actually had to go through labor that didn't really seem like a fair deal.

I finally found your blog! Yay! I love this idea of the "3" things. How fantastic. I too love going and getting the mail. I always hope there is an unexpected package from Keith's mom or a letter from a friend.

I'm thinking if you don't make Thursday, you should do a "Friday Four." Just kidding. I always love getting the mail too. And you FOR SURE get the $85. What are you going to do with it?

i think since i visited you in the hospital, i get at least $20 of it. i used to love getting the mail. even if it was a bill i didn't care. it was mail. it was for me. now, i'm not so sure i love it. it's usually just bills. nothing else too exciting. however, i do love the occasional check of the mail when you see an envelope with an actual stamp on it. total personal mail. it's the best!

Wow, a company that actually gives money back?! If I didn't know you to be an honest person I wouldn't believe it...

I think you should get to spend the $83 on yourself. Of course, I like your sister a lot, so maybe $20 of the $83 could be spent as a gift for her. But you could be the one making the purchase.

I LOVE mail too - esp. now i live in a place i know almost NOONE -- it gives me something exciting to do each day - and a brief moment out of the house!

Megan! I love your blog. Ok...I definitely love getting the mail for the reason of just going outside.

I'm stunned that a hospital would send anything other than a bill or collections notice! And I think if Matt wants half the money he needs to demonstrate endurance through half a labor and delivery (LOL). (JUST KIDDING, Matt! I know you are terrific and I'm sure that this bonus can go towards a joint reward).

I remember how you love checking the mail! I forgot about that. I don't check the mail very often because there's almost never anything but junk, except a netflix DVD. However, I also got a check from the insurance co. not long ago from when Dallin was born. It was only 20 bucks, though. And I think you should keep all of your $85, of course.
