Three fun things about our Monday holiday.
1. Three 50 cent tickets to the dollar movie to see Madagascar. (We got lucky to hit up the dollar theater on discount Monday!)
2. Three boxes of candy on sale at Walgreens.
3. Three of the last few seats together at the packed show.
We had a great time taking Blake to the movies for the first time.

What a fun memory! I bet he loved it! I still remember Bryn's first movie...Shrek 3! She is great at movies. All I do is buy a large popcorn and large sprite and we are set for the next 5 days of her sitting and being very quiet :)

Sounds like a super fun and successful outing. Neither of our kids have ever been to the theater. I think Emily would love it, if it's the right kind of movie (ie. a princess, pig, or cat movie).
Wow! Little Blake is getting so big! That's amazing. Brandon and Lindsey still talk about him from time to time. Lindsey was imitating one of the sounds he liked to make the other day. They've got good memories!

I'm not sure what you gave him but my kids for sure didn't look like that at the movie! He looks so cute sitting there. What kind of candy did you get? So sad that I'm thinking of that.
