Thursday Three

Three things that made me sad this week..

1. Saying goodbye to Austin. I went home this last week and had a great time with my family. Paige and her crew along with Grandma Jan and Grandpa Paul made it a super fun week. We went to the rodeo, out to eat, watched movies, and played with cousins. We had so much fun with my family, but it was sad to say goodbye to the house. Lots of mems, my friends, lots of mems! My parents will be NYC residents in just a few weeks.

2. Blake not taking a nap on the flight home. Longest three hours of my life.

3. Coming home and pouring myself a bowl of cereal starving from a day of travel and so pumped for good cereal only to open the fridge and find no milk!! The milk I had bought before I left had an expiration date for after I got back so I thought for sure it would be there. Matt who got home before us told me it went "bad." Sure it did, honey!!

Thanks for leaving Blake's whole milk here in Austin. I have enjoyed it! It was wonderful having you and Blake here. We are lucky to have such wonderful memories of the places we have lived. Can't wait to start creating them in NYC. love you ,mom

What a fun little connection that you were Christy's roommate! We had some good times together, she is a lot of fun, just like you! Looks like you had fun traveling the country for the past couple of weeks. At least you missed the cold and got back in time for warmer weather!(lets hope it stays that way)

It looks like a fun/sad trip. I bet it was hard to say good-bye to Austin. Will it help having your parents a little closer to AA? I loved the pic of Jan going down the slide. She's awesome!

So funny about the milk. That is the ULTIMATE disappointment. I loved seeing pictures of Jan. And you are so considerate to leave her the whole milk! I could cry to think that I will never get to go back to Texas Star Lane!

So fun!! We're heading to Austin next weekend and hoping to see Paige and Brent. I seriously HATE it when the cereal fiasco happens. I'm totally serious. I love cold cereal, and where there is no milk or spoiled milk I go crazy!!

Oh..I can only imagine what your plane flight was like. Your litle guy is so cute though, but that would be torture!

I'm glad you got to come home to Austin to see the fam.

Bummer about the flight. It's so hard to take babies on planes and have them just go with the flow.

What kind of cereal was it?
