Lent update - it is a good thing I am not Catholic because I am struggling a little bit. I was however proud of myself for passing up the cheap diet coke as Costco today. I really wanted it.

Thursday Three
We just got back from a fun spring break to NYC and Puerto Rico. We spent a few days with my parents and then headed off for some sun. Blake stayed behind and had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa. Here are three pictures of Blake in NYC and three pictures from Puerto Rico. (Blake's pictures might be small because they are from a cell phone.)

i read up on lent - a lot of people take off the weekends during lent. i'm tempted to do the same thing! so far, i haven't slipped yet, but i'm also not halfway through yet. it's been a long couple of weeks and everytime i pass a diet coke, it laughs at me!

What a fun trip! I'm glad you got to have some fun. Good job passing up the cheap diet coke. That's not easy! I've given it up for the last couple of months too and it's hard to really get over it permanently. I have a 12-pack of Diet Cherry Coke in my fridge just in case I get the urge. I has been sitting there for two months.

Yay! I'm so glad you're back and posting. You look fab in your vacation attire. I cannot believe how grown up Blake is. He's going to have roommates at BYU any second.
How awesome to leave the cold behind for Puerto Rico. Looks like you had fun. Are there more pics to come?? Seriously, three just isn't enough for me.
