Sandwich

I never thought a sandwich could bring people together but Matt and my newest brother-in-law both want to try The KFC Double Down. I thought they were both kidding but they have assured me they are not.

Matt sent me This blog post about the sandwich which pretty much made my week. It is totally worth the three minutes it will take you to read it. I also recommend their show, Wait Wait Don't Tell Me.

This sandwich has been getting so much funny hype. :) I thought the blog you linked to was AWESOME and i love NPR's show you referenced too. So funny.

I've never heard of it, but liked reading the funny blog link. I just ate dinner, complete with dessert, and am totally not hungry. For that reason alone, the double down does nothing for me. I'll be curious how your husband and new brother-in-law like it.

i just asked brent if he had ever heard of this sandwich and he practically jumped out of his seat. his eyes got huge and he said so loudly "YES. and i want to try it so bad." Looks like it will be a boys outing at the beach vacation!

Danny told me about the commercial he saw of the sandwich. It sounds so weird to me. I can't believe the idea didn't get completely shot down in the brainstorming phase. And yes, that blog about it was pretty funny.

I just laughed right out loud! Um, I have absolutely no desire to eat that but I would love to hear how Matt and new BIL like it. Love WWDTM!

I am not going to lie and tell you I am not fascinated with this sandwich. Every time I watch the commercial I think to myself, "Have the people at KFC gone completely mad? Yes! Mad with flavor!"
Welcome to flavor county friends.
I know it must be really bad for you but it looks delicious.

If Dr. Atkins were still alive, he would be so proud of KFC. This is where you go when your doctor tells you to cut out the carbs.
