Thursday Three - HOT HOT HOT

We just got back from a great vacation with my family. Blake and I started off by a quick stop in NYC to spend some time with my parents. We walked all over the city, enjoyed good food, the zoo, time at the park with David Letterman, the Central Park Carousel (this is a staple when we go and no matter how many times I do it, it is still one of my favorite things), Chelsea Market, High Line Park, City Quilter and two great toy stores.

Next we flew to South Carolina to meet up with Matt and the rest of my family for a week at the beach. Blake loved his time with his cousins. It was so great to spend time with my parents and siblings and it always make me wish we lived closer together. The weather was HOT, but thanks to lots of pool time we stayed fairly cool.

You can see me on the right side of the picture. Dave was just talking my ear off!

i realized a couple of things looking at those pictures. 1- i should have put my hair up for the family picture. 2 - i need to wear lip gloss all the time. 3 - i pretty much rule as a photographer. 4 - this was a fantastic vacation. can't wait for the next one!

and seriously, how did you ever get dave to stop talking to you?

Love all the pictures, what a fun vacation! I have to say, I am very impressed that you got down low enough to stick your head through the rabbit's head in your current state - way to go Miss Flexible! You look great by the way, and I love your new blog header.

Your picture with Dave is great. He is such a sweety to let you get so close to him. He does seem very approachable.

You McKinnons always know how to have a good time.

Glad you had such a fun time on your trip even though you missed out on a really fun date night while you were out. I can't believe you failed to mention that you and David Letterman were shooting the breeze! That's awesome!!
