Thursday Three - Three trips to JoAnn Fabric

I just finished a baby quilt for Rocket. I wanted to try piecing it together and doing binding that didn't just come from folding the back over to the front. Here is the final product. It did take me three trips to the fabric store which I was not anticipating but all and all I am really happy with the finished product.

Thanks again to online tutorials - One and Two

Two things: I love Thursday Threes, and two, we were meant to be friends - I am in the middle of making this exact same style of blanket for a doll quilt for my niece. It is darling, nice work!

So, so cute! I have yet to make a quilt for baby arriving in 2-ish weeks. UGH! And I love doing the binding this way. It's not so bad, right?

I'm not sure what I am more impressed with...the quilt or how amazingly clean your house looks in the background. I can never get a picture that is so free of clutter!

That is the cutest baby quilt I've ever seen! Binding is hard, and yours looks so great! Mine (the 2 times I've done it) is always so uneven. Way to go, I am mega impressed!!
