Thursday Three

Thursday Three - Three things I have been doing while I have not been blogging.

1. Heading to the Cider Mill for fresh donuts, animals and lots of hay.

2. Running a 5K race. It was the first race since Blake was born and I finally got into action and did it. I even won a medal!! 2nd place in my age group. It was a small race, but I am still proud. When do you think I should stop wearing my medal?

3. Going to NYC to see my parents. Blake and I had such a great time thanks to my parents and sisters (and Brent). I won't give all the details, but let's just say it involved lots of laughs, food, time in the park, walking and Wicked.

Oh my gosh, if I didn't know you I would have thought you were dead! Glad to see you back and blogging. Way to go on the race, that is something I could never do. I am planning on seeing Wicked while I'm in London, I can't wait to hear "Popular" in a British accent!

Love Wicked! Wish I could have seen it in NY, but it was too expensive. Great job on the race. Red October, right? Fun to get a medal. It's the perfect accessory for every outfit. Kyle got one last year and wears it more often than you might think. Ha! Thanks for a Thursday Three. I was missing them.

I'm so glad you put some pictures up of your trip. I still want to go to NY so bad! It's great that you have a place to stay when you go....and that your parents live in Gayle's building!! There's your claim to fame right there! jk. Good job on the race too! Why haven't I seen you sporting your medal?

Megan! If I knew you had taken second in an actual race I wouldn't have invited you to do the Turkey Trot! Dang, I have no chance of winning now. :) Oh, and you are supposed to wear your medal until you win your next race. Just kidding, congrats on the win! I love reading your upbeat blog. -Tiff
